Old Masters

William Morris

William Morris is an old master that we have highlighted before, but should of course not be missing from the list. He was a well-known English artist, writer and textile designer who had great influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement.

One of his most famous prints is " Branch ", depicting tree branches decorated with leaves. This print is often used as an example of Morris's organic and natural style, also because of the soft sand-colored tone used for the background. The style was very influential in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Morris believed that art should be accessible to everyone, and he strove to create pieces that were both beautiful and affordable. “Tak” is a perfect example of this philosophy, as it is a simple yet beautiful piece of art for everyone to enjoy. View our wide range of William Morris posters here!
