- After the Vredenburg Music Center was demolished, TivoliVredenburg was built on this site. It is a music building with five concert halls, a café and restaurant. In total, the building has a hall capacity of 5,500 people.

Back to the old Utrecht

In 1977, the Westraven office block was already a typical building where people came to work every day.
Until 2020, the Royal Dutch Mint was located in Utrecht. The La Monnaie workshop was located behind the neoclassical facade. Here was the melting house for the metals, the crushing room and the mint hall where both euro coins and commemorative coins were minted.
One of the most famous houses in Utrecht is of course the Rietveld Schröder House . The style of the house is very recognizable by the horizontal and vertical surfaces with clean lines. The house was designed by Gerrit Rietveld for Truus Schröder-Schräder. Truus lived there from 1925 to 1985. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000.
